Shawn Mendes

As you may know, after months of waiting, Shawn Mendes has finally released his self titled album. Being a very big Shawn Mendes fan, I was very excited for this release. Shawn has mentioned before the release that this album would be very different from any of his other work.

Instead of sticking to one genre, he decided to simply write what he feels is right. He was inspired by many different artists. From the inspirations of Justin Timberlake to Ed Sheeran, Shawn has still managed to find his own sound. When I first heard the album, I instantly noticed how different his sound was. He started playing with different categories of pitches, and the fans are loving it. We never thought we'd see the day where Shawn Mendes would sing as high as Michael Jackson. The songs are a combination of heartbreak, falling in love and enjoying life. I have to say that this is probably his best album yet and I am very excited to hear the next one.
