Could You be Mine - Billy Raffoul

The voice of Billy Raffoul is so original, it makes the song sound completely different from any other song you'd hear on the radio.

This Soul Rock Singer/Songwriter grew up in a very creative family, and you can definitely hear it in his music. His mother is an artist and teacher, and his father Jody Raffoul is a solo artist who opened for the one and only Bon Jovi. He is definitely influenced musically by his parents. Even if he is known as a soul rock artist, I thought this song had more of an indie/alternative vibe which I am a very big fan of. He has a very catchy and mellow chorus putting in focus his gorgeous voice. His voice has a raspy style like Peter Dreimanis from the band July Talk, it is definitely something you do not hear everyday. I listened to some other songs from Billy Raffoul, and I noticed that he has a specific style that I had trouble identifying at first. After listening to more and more songs, I noticed that most of them sound like songs you would sing at a campfire with you friends, it has a rhythmic style but it's very mellow at the same time. It's quite relaxing. I definitely recommend you all listen to this artist at least once, I am very glad I came across his music and this artist, he is definitely one of my favourite artists now.
