Devil - Shinedown

I want to start this review off with how much love and appreciation I have for Shinedown. They have never let me down with their music and I honestly don't think they ever will. Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida.

They first started in 2001 and have been killing it ever since. They're music is very distinctive from other Rock bands and they have a certain imprint on their sound that makes you know instantly it is who they are when you hear their music.

The song Devil is Shinedown's first single off of their sixth album called Attention Attention that is scheduled to be released on May 4th, 2018. The song itself was released recently on march 8th and all Shinedown fans were very excited about it, especially since the song was immediately accompanied with a music video. The lyrics of the song were described to be "a deep dive into the heart of fear" and I couldn't agree more.

The song is about being afraid of not yourself and of other aspects around you. I really liked the idea of this song because it is not a subject that is touched by many artists, we are so used to listening to music about heartbreak and loss or about dancing and drinking that this song stands out in a whole new way. I definitely recommend this song to everyone. It is worth a listen.
